## Client Spotlight: Headspace & Duval County Public Schools

Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) is the 20th largest school district in the U.S., serving more than 130,000 elementary, middle, and high school students in the Jacksonville, Florida area. The district’s 12,000+ teachers and staff are driven by a shared mission of inspiring students and preparing them for success in adult life.

When Duval County Public Schools noticed an increase in employees seeking medical support for their mental health, they knew they needed to expand their benefits. But as a public organization, funding was limited. Access was, too: Florida is one of the lowest-ranking states in terms of available care providers. 

So DCPS partnered with Headspace Care to offer employees access to licensed counselors, therapists, and on-demand coaches at no cost to them. The flexible care model ensures people receive the right care at the right time, and the trusted Headspace brand helps remove the stigma around seeking mental health support.
